Notice of Request for Proposals (RFP)
#PT 12-001 – Smart Card Encoding Equipment and System Interface
The City of Phoenix Public Transit Department (CITY) is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the purchase and installation of smart card encoding equipment and related software; maintenance for the equipment and software; and, equipment parts and supplies. The equipment and software will be used to encode smart card fare media and must interface with the CITY’s Scheidt and Bachmann fare collection system on-board media readers and stand alone validation equipment.
A pre-proposal conference will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. MST (local time) at the City of Phoenix, Public Transit Department, 302 North First Avenue, 9th Floor, Room 9A, Phoenix, Arizona 85003.
