The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Request for Proposals for Limited Use Contactless Smart Cards for PATH

The Port Authority of NY & NJ, acting on behalf of the Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corporation (PATH), is seeking proposals from qualified firms to encode and furnish Limited Use Contactless Smart Cards for PATH. The successful Proposer shall provide the Port Authority with pre-cut and pre-encoded Limited Use Contactless Smart Cards for use on the PATH system. The Smart Cards will support time-, value- and trip-based uses, and shall conform to the latest Regional Interoperability Standard for Electronic Transit Fare Payments (RIS) American Public Transportation Association. The Contract shall be for three years.

Proposals shall be accepted by 2:00 PM on April 19, 2010 at the address indicated. Documents can be requested via email at askforbids@panynj.gov or you can fax your request to 212-435-3959. Please reference RFP #20713.
