Smart Card Products and Services Directory Instructions

The goal of the Smart Card Products and Services Directory is to allow potential customers or business partners visiting the Alliance web site to identify companies or organizations that provide specific products or services to their industry of interest. Smart Card Alliance members are either smart card technology vendors or integrators or smart card technology users (such transit agency issuing fare cards or a government agency issuing ID cards). Vendors and integrators will appear in the Member Directory inclusive of the specific industries they are affiliated with and the product and service offerings they provide to each of those industries.

How to Use the Smart Card Products and Services Directory

Four sections on the Products and Services Directory interface allow users to find members by the industries they serve or participate in, the product or service offerings they provide, or by a combination of both. Each section links to a different type of a Products and Services Directory Listing, which in turn links to the Products and Service Directory details view displayed in a particular mode.

• Search by Affiliated Industry

  You can find Smart Card Alliance Vendor Members by the industry or industries with which they are affiliated. Simply click a link in this first section to view a listing of members affiliated with the selected industry.

• Search by Product or Service Offering

  You can find Smart Card Alliance Vendor Members by the product or service offerings they provide. Simply click a link in this section to view a listing of members who provide the selected offering.

• Search by both Affiliated Industry and Product or Service Offering

  You can find Smart Card Alliance Vendor Members by both the industry and the product or service offerings they provide. Select the desired industry from the first pull-down menu, the desired product or service offering from the second pull down menu, and click Show Members.

• Search for User by Affiliated Industry

  You can find Smart Card Alliance User Members by the industry or industries with which they are affiliated. Simply click a link in this fourth section to view a listing of members affiliated with the selected industry.

Using the Products and Services Directory Listing

When you search for members using the three methods detailed above, you are taken to a listing of members who meet the criteria you specified.

• Listing by Selected Industry

  The listing on the right shows members who are affiliated with the selected industry. Click a member name to view that member’s industries and product and service offerings.

• Listing by Selected Offering

  The listing on the right shows members who offer the selected product or service. Click a member name to view that member’s industries and product and service offerings.

• Listing by Selected Offering

  The listing on the right shows members who are affiliated with the selected industry and who offer the selected product or service. Click a member name to view that member’s industries and product and service offerings.

Using the Smart Card Products and Services Directory Details View

When you click any member link, you are taken to the Member Details view, which shows the member organization’s description, logo, contact information, affiliated industries, and details about its product and service offerings.
