Smart Card Alliance presents SCA Smart Card Pavilion at the RSA Conference 2008

The Smart Card Alliance will be hosting its 4th annual Smart Card Pavilion at the RSA Conference 2008 on April 7-11, 2008 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Last year the conference drew more than 15,000 attendees and more than 300 exhibitors. The 2008 Conference returns to the Moscone Center in San Francisco and will likely exceed 17,000 attendees and 350 exhibitors this year. The exhibit hall for 2008 is already completely SOLD OUT.

The Smart Card Pavilion was a huge success in 2007. The sold-out Pavilion included the Smart Card Alliance and 12 leading smart card technology companies including; Fidelica Microsystems, Verisoft, CardLogix, SCM Microsystems, StepNexus, Giesecke & Devrient, HID Global, Spyrus, Riscure BV, Lenel Systems, and 2FA Technology. The pavilion had a great deal of traffic and by expanding our footprint to a larger space last year, we were able to give our twelve exhibitors better exposure and more room to exhibit. The pavilion is an excellent value for companies who want a visible presence at the conference in a highly desirable location, and enjoy the convenience of a turnkey experience. No booths to ship and assemble. No large staffs needed to support the four day conference. No huge checks to write for a premium booth location.

Each year, the Smart Card Pavilion moves up the priority list for its booth location. In 2008 we have been placed closer to the center aisle in a 20’ x 30’ island space # 1350., which is only one aisle to the left of the main entrance aisle, and six spaces from the front entrance. The full turnkey exhibitor package cost for this year’s pavilion space will be $4,750 for Smart Card Alliance members and $5,500 for non-members. Included in this package is:

• One (1) kiosk and floor space approximately 5’ x 5’ (each back to back)
• 12” x 42” color sign bearing the exhibitor’s logo on each kiosk.
• Upgraded carpeting
• Overhead Smart Card Pavilion sign for increased visibility
• One (1) high back stool/chair
• Wireless internet access (shared access point)
• One (1) electric outlet
• One (1) wastebasket

In addition to the individual exhibitor services provided, we are including some shared services as well. First, we will be including the logos of all of the exhibiting companies on the overhead sign that hangs from the ceiling identifying the Smart Card Pavilion. Second, we will be adding a few cocktail tables in the open space in the pavilion so that visitors can have a place to mingle and talk once inside the pavilion space. Each exhibitor receives up to 4 exhibitor staff badges at no charge.

Exhibitors are responsible for their own demos and handout materials, graphics, inbound and outbound shipping, and any extras the need.
