Simon Hurry
Simon Hurry is a Senior Business Leader at Visa Inc, responsible for Global contactless and contact chip card programs. Simon has over 17 years of experience in the payments industry with a specialized focus on smart card and contactless payments. Prior to joining Visa, Simon architected smart card clearing and settlement systems at Nedcor Bank in South Africa. He was an active member and vice chairman of the GlobalPlatform systems committee, and is currently co-chair of the Smart Card Alliance Payments Council. Simon holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from the University of Pretoria.
