The Electronic Transactions Association and the Smart Card Alliance hosted a complimentary interactive webinar series entitled, The Smart Card Payments Application Series.
The third webinar, “Best Practices: Contactless and Mobile Payments Implementation,” discussed the best practices and practical knowledge required for merchants implementing contactless and mobile payments. The webinar discussed the status of merchant acceptance, discussed and demonstrated an ROI model developed by the Smart Card Alliance to assist merchants evaluating the business case for investing in contactless payments acceptance, and presented best practices for POS upgrades, training and support.
