ASE Drive IIIe USB V2 is Athena’s high performance advanced PC/SC USB smart card reader.

The ASEDrive IIIe USB V2 Smart Card Reader supports multiple smart card protocols under the PC/SC API, utilizing the USB 2.0 Full speed connection to increase reliability, communication speed and ease of operation.

The ASEDrive IIIe USB V2 Smart Card Reader utilizes the most durable landing type smart card acceptor to ensure longer card life and minimum damage to the cards outer surface.

The Smart Card Reader firmware is flash upgradeable for future unlimited updates.

Optimized for Smart card applications where high speed is essential such as Smart Card Logon, VPN and PKI operations.

ASEDrive IIIe USB V2 Smart Card Reader supports a wide range of protocols: ISO7816 T=0; T=1; EMV; I2C/Extended I2C Memory and 2/3 -Bus Protected Memory Cards.
Special EEPROM area for writing unique information for each reader or batch of readers.

The ASEDrive IIIe USB V2 Smart Card Reader passed the Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Lab (WHQL) certification program and is eligible for the "Designed for Windows XP" logo for Windows ME, Windows 2000,Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003 and "Working with Vista" logo for Windows Vista and Windows Vista 64-bit.
