Certification Achievement for Service and Support Teams Provides Enhanced Standards of Customer Support
London, February 26, 2008–VeriFone Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: PAY) today announced that it has gained ISO9001:2000 Certification for the provision of post-delivery services for EFTPOS solutions for its EMEA client services group. The certification, the first of its kind for VeriFone, was awarded after a Surveillance Audit by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance, the UK’s top assessors for ISO certification.

Tokyo and Singapore, February 21, 2008–JCB and CASSIS International (CASSIS) announced today an agreement to collaborate in an experiment to test NFC over-the-air (OTA) services. JCB and CASSIS International will jointly demonstrate end-to-end secure contactless payment issuance services for NFC mobile phones. The demonstration will begin this April with the following services to ensure secure over-the-air registration of customer data:
- Application and security life cycle management
- Creation of security domain on-the-fly
- Secure EMV data processing for JCB application
- Load, install, block, un-block and delete application
- Customer service and audit

Advanced System Includes eStickers, Enrollment and Personalization Infrastructure, and Border Control System for ePassports
Fort Lee, NJ, February 19, 2008–On Track Innovations Ltd, (OTI) (NASDAQ- GM: OTIV), a global leader in contactless microprocessor-based smart card solutions for homeland security, payments, petroleum payments and other applications, announced today that it will supply its end-to-end ePassport and border control system to be implemented in a European country. OTI will be providing eStickers which enable the upgrade of existing passports to ePassports, and an advanced infrastructure for ePassport issuing and border control passenger inspection and verification. The system meets the latest standards for electronic passports set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Union. OTI has already received initial orders to supply the system to the country’s passport issuing National Center and border control stations following a successful pilot. Deliveries are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2008. Total orders are expected to reach several millions of dollars over the next few years.
