Terminals Enable Faster Payment with the Same Security Protections that Fans Have Come to Expect from Visa

SAN FRANCISCO, March 27, 2007–The San Francisco Giants and Visa USA today announced plans for full deployment of Visa consumer-facing payment terminals throughout AT&T Park - making it easier for baseball fans to speed through concession lines and get back to the game. Thanks to this technology, fans can use Visa cards to purchase food and beverages throughout the park quickly, conveniently and securely, without handing over their credit, debit or prepaid card to the cashier. For purchases less than $25, Visa cardholders are not required to provide a signature, making it even faster to pay for refreshments at the game.
