Giants Stadium Vendors will Accept PayPass to Offer Fans Speed and Convenience While Buying Food, Drinks and Merchandise
Purchase, NY, September 07, 2005–MasterCard International today announced that the New York Giants Football Club will accept MasterCard® PayPass™, a new contactless payment option using radio frequency (RF) technology, for point-of-sale purchases made at Giants Stadium vendors, beginning with the home opener of the 2005 football season. Giants Stadium is also a new acceptance location for all MasterCard cards.

New York’s Number One Drugstore Chain Joins Growing List of Merchants to Accept MasterCard® PayPass™
New York, NY, September 06, 2005–Duane Reade, the most recognized drugstore chain in metropolitan New York, today announced that it will begin accepting MasterCard® PayPass™, a new payment option for the chain, at all of its 254 locations by the end of 2005.

Citibank MasterCard PayPass Fits on a Key Chain, Does Not Have to Be Swiped or Handed to a Cashier, Saves Time
Purchase, NY, August 24, 2005–The average time consumers spend waiting in line is 7.4 minutes, but starting this fall, Citibank® Banking Card cardholders in New York will begin zipping through checkout lines faster. They will be able to make their purchases quicker with the innovative, new “tap-and-go” Citibank® MasterCard® PayPass™,a free, speedy companion payment device to the Citibank Banking Card, Citibank’s ATM/debit card. Similarly, Citi will begin to pilot MasterCard PayPass for its credit card customers this fall. The PayPass key fob device fits on a key chain for easy access, so customers can make payments on purchases with a simple tap on a PayPass reader at participating merchants…and go. Following the initial launch in the New York market beginning this fall, Citibank plans to roll out 2.5 million PayPass debit devices across the country.

Chase Cards With blink Redefine Payment Experience for Colorado Residents by Providing Increased Speed, Added Convenience, Enhanced Rewards Platform; Area Merchants Enjoy Faster Transactions, Increased Customer Loyalty
DENVER, CO, June 8, 2005–Chase Bank U.S.A., a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. [NYSE: JPM], announced today the Colorado rollout of its new Chase “contactless” credit card called “blink.” Beginning in early June, Chase will start delivering the new cards with blink to more than 500,000 Colorado cardmembers, increasing the speed and convenience of credit card use at an initial base of more than 400 merchant locations in 63 cities across Colorado, including Arby’s, 7-Eleven, Regal Cinema’s and Walgreen’s. Colorado will be the first state west of the Mississippi to receive the new blink technology. To support the effort, Chase will launch an integrated statewide marketing campaign, including print, broadcast and billboard advertising.

NEW YORK, June 06, 2005–American Express announced today that it has begun issuing Blue from American Express® with the ExpressPay feature in all 50 states. ExpressPay, a contactless chip for easy, convenient and secure payment, will be embedded in all new Blue from American Express® consumer and small business credit cards moving forward. In addition, the Company announced 7-Eleven, Inc. (NYSE:SE) as the latest national merchant partner to accept ExpressPay. 7-Eleven currently has ExpressPay-enabled readers in 170 stores in a test market and plans a full roll out to its more than 5,300 U.S. stores by early 2006.
